Beyond The Labyrinth Screenshots Are Amazing

Some Beyond The Labyrinth screenshots were recently seen in the Japanese gaming magazine, Famitsu. We only know yet that the game is a joint venture of Konami and Tri-Ace and that the game is 60 % complete.

BIT.TRIP SAGA Confirmed For 3DS, Contains All BIT.TRIP Games

Gaijin Games has confirmed that all the BIT.TRIP games are coming to the Nintendo 3DS, namely BIT.TRIP BEAT, CORE, VOID, RUNNER, FATE and FLUX. They will be in one package called BIT.TRIP SAGA. The games will be in 3D to enhance the well-loved gameplay from the retro-flavored franchise. No release date and price information yet. There is also no information as to how the games will be distributed but it is quite likely they will have retail release. Check out their YouTube channel for game trailers. Angry Birds For 3DSWare Confirmed

Rovio Mobile, the makers of the popular iPhone/iPod/iPad game Angry Birds, have confirmed that they will be bringing the game to 3DSWare later this year. Although they said that all versions of the game (The original one, Seasons and Rio) are planned to be ported to 3DSWare, it is unknown yet if the games will be in one package or available separately like the on the App Store. Incidentally, this news was confirmed via a 'tweet'.

Nintendo Miss Expected 3DS Sales, Still Manage To Sell 3.6 Million Units

Nintendo President, Satoru Iwata, recently announced that although they failed to meet their predictions, which were made last year, they still managed to sell an impressive 3,600,000 units by the end of the fiscal year that just ended, just 400,000 short of their prediction of 4,000,000 units. According to Iwata the shortcoming was caused by the recent earthquake and tsunami disaster in Japan. Nintendo's prediction for the current fiscal year stand at 16,000,000 hardware units.

Excitebike Free Download For 3DS Owners

According to many sources Nintendo is going to announce free downloads of the classic motocross game Excitebike to commemorate the arrival of the console's e-Shop service. the 3DS e-Shop will contain 3DSWare along with titles from classic Nintendo consoles such as the Gameboy Advance (GBA) and Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). The e-Shop will be included in the firmware update which is coming around the end of May '11.
